River Deben at Waldringfield

Description

The River Deben is nearly 25 miles in length. Flowing through largely unspoilt countryside of Suffolk, rising near Debenham and exiting into the North Sea at Felixstowe Ferry. For about 13 miles, from Woodbridge to Felixstowe it becomes a tidal estuary.

The picture was taken at dawn one September morning just north of the village of Waldringfield at low-tide.
