River Alde sunset from Slaughden, Aldeburgh

An amazing sunset over the River Alde and Aldeburgh marshes from the shingle bank at Slaughden near Aldeburgh's Yacht Club. The river makes a dramatic turn south here. A shingle spit has blocked the rivers course and still has several miles before it reaches the North Sea. Image taken in October 2021
